Quote from Hakville: “Quote from floppityflip: “Does asf even engage ground units unless explicitly told so? ” that's the claim...this is a kinda special situation tho. I think asf is the only unit that has attack damage, and doesn't automatically engage from patrol mode ( i could be wrong) ” You are wrong; the Unit Description explicitly states which unit will trigger the patrol attack. Ofc once patrol attack triggers all enemy units inside patrol range will get attacked.

Quote from Hakville: “ok, What happens AFTER an engagement is interesting, but this has nothing to do with the original question. Teburu didn't read the quote well before responding. It would be nice if u guys didn't quote so much text that you're not really responding to. When we Quote-Reply we can trim it down to what's relevant. I just had a situation where i used Patrol to try to hit an enemy, and the edge of the patrol-area just barely caught a completely different idle enemy. Even though m…

Quote from Mother Hen: “Quote from Teburu: “Quote from Hakville: “Quote from THADE1: “I do expect different behaviour as is the whole purpose of having two command buttons. Attacking a single unit stack is the point of the attack button, so why has it started engaging ground units that are below it. ” this is a good discussion,it gets at some low level game dynamics. If a ground unit is moving, sometimes it will not engage a nearby enemy (maybe until it's path intersect). However if you click sto…

Quote from KFGauss: “I'm uncertain, but I think that the points for killing non-insurgents match the levels of the units that you kill. Kill a level 1 Aircraft carrier = 1 point (I think). Kill a level 6 NG = 6 points (I think). Insurgents are worth 3 points. I've picked up >100 SP/day for many days by killing >33 insurgents/per day. ” That is not true; a lvl 1 mbt will for example give more points than a lvl 1 NG. Tho level also impacts points earned. While I dont have a spreadsheet with all th…

  • Quote from Dealer of Death: “Kranzegrad Missile - BM variant - when impacted on a city or province center, scrambles all unit communication, causing units in the 200 range radius to become motionless for 24hrs, then must recharge for 48 hrs, but adds 2% morale to all provinces/cities in area of effect Teburu Mechanized Mobile Trebuchet - when this artillery unit hits a target with it's Snark Shells, the enemy recieves no damage, but immediately returns to city of origin to sort out it's confusio…

Quote from Agent White: “Me thinking here, what are their use either? ” They are for detecting units in a big radius, while they can’t identify exact units composition they dont really need to. The general knowledge of unit position and movement in a pretty big radius (about 250-300) The main difference is that: Ground Radar: - can detect ground units with low signature (inf) - can’t detect low aircraft with low signature (helis/ max lvl fighters) - low mobility due to being a ground unit AWACs:…

  • 1. No, only a bit to ground units 2. Actually knowing where the enemy is helps you with killing their units.

  • The Forum is the wrong place to submit a report. Either create a ticket through the report function or send an email to dorado about it.

  • - if you want to report people submit a ticket or send an email to the support - accusing specific people (aka spelling out their names) is against the forum rules; so you might want to edit out the names

  • In terms of Alliances to try out I can only recommend Carthage. In general looking around in the official CON Discord is probably easier.

Thats… wow. 1. Resources in in publics are not that scarce that you have to sacrifice a lot just do be able to do artillery; in general you dont need an incredibly high variety of units to begin with. And if you use Arty then fighting in Melee is 100% avoidable 2. Melee is not considered inefficient because of „slow healing“; Healing is actually one of the least worries to have when using melee. Its that Melee in general is an incredibly suboptimal way of fighting. You want to play more ground b…

Quote from Zefyros22: “There is at least one more problem with your options. 1. imagine stack of lets say tank, motorized infantry, national guard, point defense and mlrs defending the city and you trying to soften it up with artillery ... artillery deals dmg each hour, so if it doesnt reach 10% of hp of stack it becomes pretty much immortal + due to counterfire from mlrs its doomed to loose 2. same problem. if stack has lets say 6 different units and they heal at this rate, stack becomes pretty…
