Quote from The Destroyer 4: “I hate when the game is over, then you have to join another one a do the daily grind all over again. ” Well yeah. Also I didn't archive it after I won, so when I logged in to see how big my super duper nuclear arsenal had grown, I got smacked across the face with the victory announcement and "NOTE: Game has ended. You cannot give orders anymore." My mighty war machine, frozen forever in time!!!

Huh, weird. I closed the victory graphic to review the map. Then suddenly it pops back up with a corrected spelling - 1st instead of 1th: 1stvictory.png

What's really weird is that Montana's area looks a lot bigger than mine. Probably fewer territories, but larger-sized than mine. Oh yeah, and 68 cities to my 89.

Oh, boy... Montana got super aggressive and started rivalling me, then attacked.... and now I'm sitting at 1704 victory points out of a necessary 1700 to win... I have a feeling I'm drawing my last breath here!

I just launched four nukes at Ontario. Ironically, my chief interest is accessing the sole remaining two provinces of Illinois, both of which are deep in Ontarian territory; so far in that my Airborne Infantry can't reach them, otherwise I'd have skipped warring with Ontario altogether.

I enjoy this game, but it often feels like a round ends too soon. Would it be possible to create a variety of map where one does not win after a specified amount of victory points, but instead allows for the possibility of one player conquering the entire map? And, how about making warheads saleable on the market? I note they're already shown on the market bar.

Quote from 737373elj: “Likely too much for the devs to do lol Although it would be interesting to play Also why would anyone bother trying to conquer the moon when all the VPs are on Earth? There aren't any countries on the moon... right? ” Well imagine that you have special missiles launchable from the Moon which, due to the Moon's low gravity and lack of atmosphere, require very little fuel to launch and can be used against targets on Earth. That would be a strong tactical advantage.

Moon has no oceans so does it mean that there won't be any naval warfare there ? I wonder if I could get in on designing games? It would be fun to flex some creativity. Maybe a double map where we start on the Earth, but can conquer the Moon. Or just on Earth but we can establish underwater colonies and populate provinces on the seafloor.

I spent $65 CAD on gold in one game and developed nuclear power. I was just beginning to flex my nuclear power when... boom, game over, because some points-based game objective had been reached. I have since been unmotivated to spend money on this game. I feel like an open-ended game allowing for the possibility of one player ultimately conquering the entire map might be more worth spending money on, rather than an abruptly aborted game.

Quote from JonDoe101: “Quote from Jotunn: “What I describe would still be multiplayer online games; merely custom tailored ones. ” Well what ideas do you have that you think require a more tailored game as opposed to games that are already being offered? ” The two variations I described in my opening post are what came to my mind. But really, anything that 1) a player might request and be willing to pay for and 2) anything the game's hosts could program with ease. Seems like a reasonable way to …

I was wondering if people can purchase customized games? Like maybe a World War III game which has no end until one player conquers every city and province, or a game in which every player starts off with the first level of everything in the research tree at the beginning of the game?
