    AWAS means AWACS, he just lost the C As long a unit has no attack value against a certain unit type, it will not attack, and if you enforce an attack, it will not deal damage anyway. So SAM and TDS will never attack or even defend with choppers.

    If you have several hours of gunfights with artillery, logistic can be key of getting advantage over your opponents. Same goes for the case, that you get attacked from multiple enemies at the same time. Being able to relocate your forces can be essential then. After a challenge started, building new troops is from minor importance anyway.

    Someone would be surprised how many logistics we tend to build in challenges, and even in publics I use them, if I play artillery.

    In Thirty Kingdom you were able to spend 100k emeralds (aka gold) for addtional build slots in the capital. For single player experience such 'global' improvements are nice, but in competative matches the p2w perspective would be to big, I would guess.

  • Ships heal for 2 HP per day, because Subs get halved HP they heal at 4 HP per day you could say. It also works for transport ships.

    There is early, mid and late game tech, that is for sure. Very important in perspective of alliance challenges and in regards of length of peace time. But I fail to see the difference between AFV and tanks in your cateogorization, they fullfill different roles. Also I fail to understand your reasoning, this would just mean, that high tech units are even less likely to be used by most people.   • Knowing strength and weakness and units and how best to combine than, and you can score many victories without any need for gold. Activity is also key element too.

  • Yeah, swarming National guards would be probably be to strong. I guess, same would be, if you would give the ability to motorized or other current infantries. How about some kind of peacekeeper or mountain infantry (Gebirgsjäger). Strong in cities and mounains, equally slow as airborne on the ground, hardly any offense stats, perhaps even none. @ross222 Yeah, but his point is, fighter jets don't act, while you are offline.

  • Even the biggest stack of tanks gets wrecked by artillery without any losses if the artillery is played well, so I'm no fan of close quarter units by default. The usefullness of TD as defensive units gets limited by the fact that there is no defensive infantry units with air assault capabilities. If you want to use them as mobile fortification, you can only pair them with recons and some AA-units.

    Would be nice to keep it as a feature then, some province have strategically bad starting harbours: 7bc64261b3e8d9ade43c84aea84a3e9e.png I once used those provinces to cross over and start my invasion into middle east, would be bad if that option gets denied.

    Can't say I have favorite map yet, but I prefer smaller maps, because they don't last as long, it is easier to take a break inbetween.
