Some more interesting stats we could have are: - World's Largest Army - World's Largest Air Force - World's Largest Navy - World's Most Diplomatic Nations (Most private messages sent) - World's Most Populous Nations

Since the Cold War games are set in an earlier time period, it would be cool to have research limited to 2 or 3 levels per unit and even have some of the more modern units not researchable. It would also add another difference point between the Cold War maps and the Flashpoint maps. Also, the different availability of units might also cause a shift in strategy.
