"Stuck" unit, how to regain control?

I have 5 air superiority in one unit and I sent them to ferry to another base. Howeer, the unit doesnt move and there is NO timer for refueling to finish, its just stuck on "15 minutes to refuel". Its been close to an hour now when it should have been able to conduct new missions.
any ideas how to save?

Have you tried cancelling all their orders?

This happens occasionally, it is super annoying. So far I cant determine what triggers it or how it becomes fixed but it usually resolves itself in a relatively short amount of time. Until then the units look as if they are floating just above ground

From time to time we have stuck units and need to handle it on our end, just contact support.

contact support or sometimes try different browser and/or mobile helps. Troops usually get stuck on borders if you stop; planes suck when stuck ( keep trying combo of cancel; ferry; patrol and maybe coincidence but have gotten unstuck after awhile)
