Unable to take territories

I'm unable to take any territories. I'm a new player and I have no idea what has changed from the first 24 days of war.

Three days I've been trying to lands in 10 different areas and they just keep pounding away and resetting the time. It's put me right behind other nations. I've tired everything.

Don’t use the “attack” button, use the “move” button to move your infantry to the province center. Your infantry, once upgraded to level 6, now get 25 range (they can bombard enemy units and territories from a safe distance). If you order them to attack, they will use their range by default and therefore not be able to take territories.
