I've been playing more games lately, and one thing I've noticed is that some players use regular AA as their main ground anti-air unit, while others choose SAMs for this role. So I wonder, which do you normally use?
Here's the basics:
Regular AA - good for defending stacks from fixed and rotary wing attacks, engages units with damage of 9.0 for helos, 7.0 for FW, and 2.0 for missiles.
SAM launchers - can't defend against helos but have greater protection against FW and missiles, and unlike regular AA they won't slow down your army. 13.0 damage for FW, 5.5 for missiles.
So I guess it would come down to if your enemy is mainly using FW or helos. But what if you guess wrong, or you don't have enough time to produce the correct units before an attack?
