is it my impression, or the route calculator doesn't choose the fastest, but the shortest route?
I tested it multiple times. Just now, a frigate on the US west coast, you tell it to go to the east coast. The route chosen automatically takes the frigate in shallow waters, and the total time is 1d7h.
then i do it manually, making it travel as much as it can on open waters, and the total travel time is 21h19m.
so my only guess is that the calculator uses the shortest route (through shallow waters), rather than the fastest one (through deep seas)?
