On Rising tides; Wake Island appears larger than Hawaii. In reality its a 5 sq mile unpopulated Atoll controlled by USA Airforce. Its basically just an Airstrip in middle of ocean.

In addition in game its like 500 miles west of Hawaii; In reality its 2458 miles from Hawaii and situated East of Guam and closer to Japan than Hawaii. (closest proximity would be between NP73 NP74 on map).

Wake island is still around but Florida sunk into the ocean.

I wonder if someone had a bad time in Florida.
The Desantis plan ;( But actually most of Fla barely above sea level. Was on a Land tractor tour in Croc Nature preserve like 1 hr east of Sarasota and Tour guide actually said "we are at the highest "peak" of the park and have climbed 60 feet over the past mile; you may have felt the change in altitude!" LOL. Damn Flat landers.

      Fla basically a giant sandbar.

-- 30 meter sea level rise wipes out fla on projections. and most world barely impacted.

Rising Tides is not based on actual water levels as would take 200 meter increase to get some of impact seen on map at which would flood most of europe. Africa and central asia in best shape in regards to effect of real life seas levels rising.

Interesting would take about 6000 meter rise to flood the world or approx 320,000 inches non stop rain (not accounting for evaporation). If rained everywhere at 1 inch per hour would take 13,000 days/nights (.333 inch per hr considered downpour would take 42,000 days/nights of non stop rain). 40 days at 1 inch would raise about 24 meters and barely sink most of fla.

In context sea levels have been raised 6 - 8 inches since 1900. So fla should be safe for a bit.
