Was a Smithsonian Channel documentary and every episode is history of development; combat footage and interviews with actual pilots who shot down enemies; maint crews; commanders; etc. Covers most major Aircraft from WW2 to present only looks like major misses B-17 (maybe they are in Mustang episode as mustangs main mission was their protection ??) and SR-71 Blackbird (probably all classified).

Have watched 2 episodes and very well done.

Episode 1 highlights F-15 (104 - 0 ) in combat; hands down all time best/proven Air Supp Fighter of all time. AND STILL UNDFEATED CHAMPION OF THE WORLD!!
