I'm in a 4x Apocalypse game (5573955). In this game, I noticed the following:
1. My max level 5 stack of attack subs wiped out an infantry unit that was disembarking. The composition was an infantry officer, 3 max level elite rail guns, 3 max level mech infantry, and an anti air. It took 2 salvos, and the 2nd one was pretty much just mop up since the stack only had about 46hp left after the first one. Now, since disembarking units can launch anti-air attacks as well as other "ground" status actions, is it intentional that they are still treated as a "water" status unit and able to be attack by subs and other water only attack units? Also worth noting, the first salvo was automatic, but when I directed my unit to attack again (it would have anyway, I just wasn't taking any chances), it warned me that my unit wouldn't do any damage to the targeted unit.
2. This is just an observation: Rail guns are OP, this guy had a stack of 3 and a stack of 4 (probably another stack of 3 in his homeland too), that paired with max level infantry made attacking it almost impossible with any unit, since it defends against land, air, and sea, and not at a low level I might add. Having missed the season 4 bonus by about 12 points (I wasn't playing regularly at that point), I cannot counter with other rail guns, and I can't find anything else that would effectively counter except in rare situations.
3. Naval units are healing while they travel. They are not near any friendly cities, and I am seeing an HP increase overnight, it is slow (even for a 4x game), but it is there.
Edit:
4. I knew there was a fourth. Multiple times when I had just barely crossed into a territory that had just been taken by another country, I was warned that moving my unit would put me at war. Both times, it did not result in war (thankfully). I know this is a situation a lot of players run into and so maybe this is a new feature.
