Airborn officer too weak?

Why does airborne officer lose so much hp and offensive damage when air assaulting. That is such a big nerf that makes them weaker than usual.
I thought they were easily the most op units since they had so much boost in different terrains but the moment they air assaulted they did so little damage. Most units that air assault do more damage, yet AM officer does less

It's been a long while since I ever use one but the cruz of the matter is due to the HP conversion from a land unit to a heli and vice versa for the officer.

Normal Airborne inf have 15 HP at lvl 1, the assaulting heli also have 15 HP, so 1 HP lost during air assault = 1 HP lost on the inf

Airborne Officer have 30 HP at lvl 1, assaulting heli have 15 HP, 1 HP lost during air assault = 2 HP lost on the officer.

Airborne officer is a pretty shit one to build tbh. it's like a wanna-be-but-expensive Special Force

Thank you. I just tried it because of alll those bonuses. And then didn’t realise that the change in hp when assaulting was a thing
