      Season 8 has come to an end. We hope that you utilized the abilities of the Elite Attack Aircraft and maintained Air superiority during the last months. If you did not yet purchase Security Council, you are still in time as there is a 24-hour grace period that allows you to unlock the Seasonal Unit if you have enough points.

      And now… *drumroll please*
      It is time to give credit where credit is due. After a very competitive Season, it is only fair to honor the top Commanders for Season 8.

      Congratulations to the top 3 victors, who won:
      3rd Place - HHLE: 30 000 Gold + 3 months Security Council + Season Winner Role on the CON Discord Server
      2nd Place - Mauropacker: 40 000 Gold + 4 months Security Council + Season Winner Role on the CON Discord Server
      1nd Place - KingSuper: 50 000 Gold + 5 months Security Council + Season Winner Role on the CON Discord Server
      1st Place - Poturala: 50 000 Gold + 5 months Security Council + Season Winner Role on the CON Discord Server Pending Investigation

      Ranked 58th in Season 7, Mauropacker has now reached the 3rd place on the Leaderboard this Season. A relatively new name on the Leaderboard bringing a fantastic achievement for the Alliance he represents - CruzanMafia340, has achieved a whopping 59 519 Points. We hope to see you even higher next time!

      Coming in 2nd, is KingSuper! A well-known name among the Seasonal winners, after reaching the Top in Season 6, as well as Season 5, he makes his way back in the top three again. A member of the Centre of the World alliance, keep an eye on them if you want to reach the Top, you will surely need to get through this player first.

      With nearly 60000 Points, the 1st position rightfully goes to Poturala from the Alliance RWPG- ! A never-before seen name among the Top runners, a fresh player off the training grounds, with a grand total 59 676 of Season points. Poturala’s victory is not only his first season victory but also his first time making the top 3, may you continue being on the top of the Conflict of Nations Leaderboards!

      Stay tuned for Season 9, we can certainly tell you that the Team is now focusing on a unit type that hasn’t been included in the Seasons in some time! Keep your eyes peeled on the upcoming Teasers very very soon!

    • Aside from the supposedly interesting seasons announcements (which read mind-numbingly superficial to me),
      who really cares about these pumped up stats? Or the seasons leaderboard, in general?

      Overall I am puzzled by Dorado's promotion strategy. Instead of advertising the core benefits for Security Council (like the very useful building queue etc.), we got these lame attempts to whip up excitement about Seasons and their meaningless stats. Meanwhile, most season units were barely worth mentioning, then they made the latest one absurdly overpowered.

      Agreed, but we're making due until we get representative stats/leader boards. Once the new client comes around we will push for this to be included on the roadmap for CoN.

      Less for interest, and moreso an official indicator that the season has ended. While putting a spotlight on the top contenders. It's easy for us to just drop in a 1 liner without image stating Season officially ended, but we opt for a more official announcement with the time allotted.

      Announcing end of season has nothing to do with promoting Security Council. The benefits are listed in the shop and wiki. Edit: To elaborate further. Everyone here would love to add more features and functionality to SC, and we have some plans in backlog, but right now other priorities take precedence. Once the new client is out we are in a better position to start adding long requested functionality and community requests.

      He is. We're in contact with the player and have protocol going forward to avoid these instances. Generally it isn't an issue but with new staff some things can be missed - good catch!
