I have been wondering... why isn't Sudan playable? It surely is big enough and has enough potential cities. Having it AI just creates this big gap in northeast africa.
Why Sudan not playable?

B-but, the whole point is to not cluster? People complain that the Koreas and Israel are playable, but why those small countries, and not Sudan?

Africa is already overcrowded with too many nations. they are almost always left for the last picks as is and half of them go inactive after the first hour because it’s picked by people who just started the game. Adding Sudan as a playable country is basically pointless because it will hardly ever be someone’s pick willingly. Currently it does serve as a catalyst for war. 3 countries eye it at the start and often try to go for it, Ethiopia, Egypt and chad.

Maybe your experiences haven't been a good sampling of the habits of the entire player population? Maybe mine haven't? Maybe people who scramble to get other locations aren't making the best choices? The post was edited 1 time, last by KFGauss ().
