Button to confirm gold usage in-game.

If anyone sees this thread and would like to have their opinion on this...
Should there be a button added in settings to switch on/off to prevent accidental in game purchases using the gold currency if someone accidently misclicked and spent gold?

I've gotten a few responses on Discord about this and want to see what the CON WW3 Forum community thinks about this since I feel it is needed to improve the game and prevent people from accidently losing gold because of misclicks, glitches upon clicking stuff and accidently spending gold, etc. I feel a gold usage confirmation button would be useful to people in the game who don't want to accidentally and unintentionally spend gold and lose it.

I think that should also be applied to the boughts in the market, would help a lot.

It amazes me people still want/need the world to idiot proof everything for them.

As is.... If you go to start a build without resources. IT POPS up a screen telling you how much it will cost in gold and available gold balance. yet they want another confirmation box after they have already hit 2 buttons??

If buying RSS on market with gold it literally shows a gold icon and then shows X amount of RSS for Y amount of gold.

If you go to raise morale (again a pic of gold on button). Same with unit health.

How in THE HELL does someone accidently spend gold?

Ofc we can miss click the button especially with button to rise moral on some unimportant province. Happened to me few times as well when the game was decided.

The thing is that the game is free and we get the gold for free. So they naturally want you to spend it sooner than later.
I am sure they have stats of clicking the button to rise moral on a province because it is clearly a miss click. Nobody would ever do it.
And they like the data from miss click statistics

ESPECIALLY THAT! Try clicking a province, then click diplomacy>chat and then type a sentence. Then try to press tab and then enter to send it. BOOM! You lost 500 gold

Responding to critisms and comments I have found. At the end of the day no matter what we think about this matter, I respect your opinions as that is essential to pointing out faults in our arguments.

I understand the part about gold confirmation on resources lacking for building and mobilizing, that is fine as it is, but here is my point.

It doesn't hurt to proof things that could use proofing. If it is an option to do so, and add a button to prevent accidental gold usage, why not? As I mentioned, it should be choice to the player to enable/disable this feature. I do believe that there an option about gold buttons should be applicable to the market to prevent accidental purchases. We have to play to earn gold the free way, or buy it. Mistakes are made because we are human.

If someone's mouse misclicks as they are pulling up the market, it registers and makes someone inadvertently purchase resources for gold. Again, gold is not that simple to earn.

If there has been multiple attempts to get this feature, but to no avail, then why can't we have a good majority/portion of the CON WW3 community to voice their support to this idea? It would be useless to keep making attempts like this that flop and do nothing.

Gold should be notified in alliance matches when both teams have agreed on no gold usage.
