Hello All,
I have been wondering about the combat mechanics in the game. Does anyone here know how mixed stack units receive damage?
For example lest say you have 7 infantry units + 3 armoured/support units, how would the damage of an attack helicopter stack be distributed? (considering the helicopters have 25 damage on infantry and 62 on armoured/support units).
Does it make 70% of the damage on the infantry (in this case 17.5) and 30% of the damage on the armour (in this case 18.6). Or does it use HP to calculate? Or is it calculated in another way targeting the armour in the stack more, since it has more damage against it?
Just curious since I had an enemy with a stack of 2-3 infantry + SAM, the attack helicopter stack (then doing 15 dmg on infantry + 50 dmg on armour) killed the SAM in the first blow which I didn't expect. Then in another battle I had a stack of 1 railgun, 2 AA and 7 national guard and the enemy attacked me with Naval strike fighters and some attack helicopters and I noticed that my infantry barely took any damage and most of the damage was absorbed by the AA and railgun. I had a 2nd level combat outpost and the infantry took around 4 DMG in total and the AA/Railgun (considered armour) took around 10-12 dmg.
