I have the necessary 2500 points but I can't research elite MBT. I get the typical response that I don't have season 1 badge (obviously).

During Season 9, you should be able to research the Elite Tank no mater how many Seasonal Points you have.
The Seasonal Points are only needed to permanently unlock the Season 9 Elite units.

I have an SC membership, and I intend to earn 2500 Season Points during this season so that I can unlock the EMBT permanently.
So far I have earned a little over 1500 points.
Now when I use my browser to check how many points I have (to find out if I have earned 2500), my current points total isn't displayed.
Instead what I see is a message telling me that I have "... completed this season's challenge!".
What method can I use to determine when/whether I have earned the 2500 points I need to permanently unlock the EMBT? -

For now at least, the mobile app display my points total, even though that total is > 1500.

My eye was never drawn to that crowded line at at view's bottom.
It's a view that (when un-studied) appears to be simply showing me top 10 players (boring).
Being totally uninterested in those top 10 scores probably contributed to me not noticing my own score was tucked in underneath them in that bottom out-of-order entry.
Hey Dorado - I'm going to bet that you already know that when you want to show something to a reader something, it's usually a good idea to put it at the top of a list like that, not at the bottom.
That - And declaring the challenge over, before it's truly over are a little "weak".
