Mil logistic webs in chokepoint areas (gulf of aden, gibraltar strait, suez, etc) to use MLRS and block naval incursions is great and used frequently.

do enemies also move quicker on them?
I build airstrips on large mountain provinces specifically because they're a PITA to rush
