      This is a remake of the one as some people decided to make a fight out of the discussion, please behave and do not do the same in here.
      Some people posted some ideas, those will be moved into this thread aswell, i will make posts for each person that replied stuff that i see was relevant for this topic.

      Just following up on discussion of a secondary, Atlantic ,brics tech tree. Basically its a J_oint Brazilian-South African tech tree. As they both work together and many areas.

      1= Well as this is a russian gunship, its heavly modified by brazil. We are a tad desperate in that area. But then again, the russian naval patrol aircraft is a 1930s sea plane...




      2= Well, since Brazil and South Africa both operate the SWEDISH Gripen.
      They partially produced in Brazil... And since we are desperate in this region of the tree....=

    • Sadly we began to run dry. There are a few options for missiles. But the real issue is the lack of Destroyers, and neither being a true blue navy.

      I think that we will only be able to really get a Tech skin done for a nation who have blue water abilities. Im gonna put more focus into my British tech skin tree. Which has more potential. Just stuck in a few areas.

      True, But I have kinda given up.

      Simply put, unless they are one of the 5 nuclear signatures they wont be able to have a tree. Bombers, Carriers and Ballistic missile subs. They the 3 issues that always arise.

      India do have their own carrier I guess.

      They do have 1 Ballistic missile sub, not 3 :/ Arihant class

      They dont have any bombers either


      But still would progress the tree a good bit. SA-Brazils good military relationship what made this plausible but I think India could really progress this tree.

      Well technically in the Game "Eastern". But yh Russian. But there is literally no other alternative. The Europeans will still have to rely on the V-Bombers once your British tree is up and running. South Africa and Brazil have never had or operated Heavy Bombers. India uses Russian ones. And once again Russia is a BRICS nation along with China. But I wouldn't use anything Chinese in this tech tree. Keep it as Brazilian, South African and Indian as possible and use American, European and Russian tech to fill out any gaps. If you have enough money the Russians will pretty sell you anything. Since a member nation uses Russian Bombers. They should just adopt them. Like wise with the nuclear powered Submarines. The only pure tech tree in this game is the Russian one (Eastern), all the others use military tech from other nations including the US one (Western) and the European one is Multinational (but mostly French and British).

    • I think this Tech tree should be called the Southern Doctrine. Since Brazil, South Africa are both Southern Hemisphere powers and India is a South Asian Superpower. It also makes sense considering we have a western doctrine and a Eastern Doctrine.

      If the Chinese and British tech trees are included they should be called Eastern Doctrine and Commonwealth Doctrine. The Current Eastern (Russian one) should be renamed Eurasian.

      That way the global doctrines will look like this:
      Western (USA)
      European (Pretty self explanatory)
      Eurasian (Russia)
      Eastern (China)
      Southern (Brazil, South Africa, India)
      Commonwealth or Northern? (Britain)

      Wont really be able to get tree other than the 5 UNSC members. And since one of the French or Brits need to sit out and play in the European tree. We are stuck...


      France have the Mirage IV, and thats really it :/


      You think we would be able to make a European tree excluding UK and France? Use the Italian and Spanish carriers? Could manage the Skies no bother. Just have to call on Sweden to be more active in the tree. Finland too. Again its the Missile subs that are the issue. Could get the attack subs easy enough. But I dont think we could manage the Missile submarines

      Nah couldn't you would need France or Britain to fill in the gaps just ain't possible. Besides Spain's current carrier is a helicopter carrier and Italians just have Light carriers/helicopter carriers

      No I get that, but if the UK/ Commonwealth tree is made. I think other European Equipment should replace British Equipment where possible (Mostly in the realm of ground vehicles) like get rid of British CRVs, Artillery and MBTs in the European tech tech since their are European Alternatives. You could probably replace the Submarines with French ones too. I think France is more essential to the European Tech tree than Britain is.

    • I know the Brazilians use and are involved in the production and distribution of Tucanos as military Aircraft for training and military operations. Also Egypt, Argentina and Peru use Tucanos but thier are many variations. Does your Brazil and South American Tech tree feature Tucanos? If they don't they should and if they do where are they featured and what are they called?

    • Tucano is Brazilian aircraft (embraer) , but its a COIN aircraft. CoN doesnt have any COIN aircraft in game.
