Type of Roleplay:The roleplay is a modern-realism focused roleplay. A Player’s main focus should be on expanding your nation's influence, economic power and strength. It is NOT the objective to seize other nations, but rather grow your nation economically and militarily. You must assume the role of the leader of your respective country and make decisions that will affect all of your citizens. If you wish to play a standard "conquer the world" game, do not apply.
Ideas for Roleplay Emphasis:
- Can your government protect your nation's airspace?
- Respond to foreign and domestic threats?
- Would your nation lead a UN peacekeeping force to deal with the threats from around the world?
- Can your nation express the true strength of your people on a global scale?
- Can your nation respond around the world when one of your citizens are harmed?
- Is your nation focused on economic strength and assisting smaller nations?
- Does your nation spread its cultural influence across the planet with having to resort to violence?
In-Character Start Date (Day 1 - In-Game):

Everyday = 2 weeks In-game
Day that the RP goes Active:
May 22, 2017
**The Password to join the game will be sent via Private Message upon the approval of your application. If you join the game prior to May 22nd, please refrain from taking any actions that may influence RP or another country.** Also, once your application is accepted and you have joined the game as your assigned country, you will be given a link to the game's Discord Channel where you may converse with the other players Out-of-Character and discuss events transpiring within the game.
The only constraints on Tech Trees for this game is to maintain realism. If your nation is a nuclear capable state in real life, then you may develop down that path. If your nation is not, then you are still allowed to develop down the path of WMD’s (Nuclear, Biological, Chemical) ONLY after EXTENSIVE Roleplay. Extensive RP is defined as (1) News Article EVERY DAY for a period of 14 Days. (If you miss a day, you will be allowed to post (2) articles in a single day.)
Nations may only use RoW with an AI nation that they have Real Life military agreements with that include the stationing of troops.
War should be the absolute last resort after all diplomatic efforts have failed. If war proves to be inevitable, it must be conducted in a civilized fashion. Additionally, a player is NOT allowed to completely conquer another Playable Country, even if that country is not currently occupied by an active/inactive player. You MUST leave (1) city unconquered so that a joining player or an existing player may have an opportunity to continue to Roleplay. **This also means that you cannot take the last city and then abandon it to Rebellion. You must leave it alone and under the control of the original country. Bombing it is permitted, but not to the point of allowing it to fall to Rebellion.
The only exception to this would be if a player were to be forcibly removed from the game. Violation of any of these rules will result in complete conquest and subsequent booting from the game and participation in the current and future Roleplay.
In order to preserve a more realistic game. There are limits on the number of countries (both playable and minor) that a player may “conquer”. Additionally, a player may ONLY conquer a nation that is within its geographic proximity. (ie. Brazil cannot travel around the world and conquer Saudi Arabia).
During the course of Roleplay, a player may “conquer” up to (1) Playable Country and (2) Non-Playable Countries. Remember that when conquering a playable country, you MUST leave 1 city in the hands of the original country. Also, War is a last resort and even with these limits, if you are deemed a threat to the international community, action may be taken against you by other players. This rule is NOT meant to act as a free hand in the conquest of nations. It should be avoided if possible.
