I would love if this game becomes available on steam.. willing to pay for it... I would like it for offline purposes
Make an offline version?

I could see that as a possibility once the bugs are worked out and balances taken care of. I played A&A and Gary Grisgsby's WAW and this appealed to me for that (as have CoW, 30K, Supremacy, etc.). It probably wouldn't happen for quite some time with having to finish this up along with adding menus, different diplomacy options, AI functionality in that version of this, etc. Would be awesome tho.

Hi guys, although I understand your interest and it honors you, unfortunately an offline version is not going to happen because this game's monetization and business model is free 2 play online MMO/MP.
Steam as a platform is possible but I cannot disclose anything about our future plans as of this moment.
Best,

Steam is good, but like you said, it would be negative due to the business model and monetization. The closest thing I could see would be an independent project with similiarities but enough differences to allow it to remain lawsuit free. The amount of work to try and duplicate this by an individual would be ridiculous aside from the most devoted player/fan. Someone would have done this already. At least we can dream tho right? lol. Plus steam is kind of expensive on things that the developers of several games released there later did not agree with.

Steam is a great platform and Dorado actually released games on it. Not an issue. Just depends on the market fit.

It's a pity that there won't be an offline or single player version. But how about the idea of Allianz internal rounds as "proving ground". Not like the alliance vs alliance rounds but only for players in an alliance. From me also like without evaluation.

I agree, but without Steam! Pleases, just do a version like Age of Empires, with "autorun"!
The game is excelent, but play online uses a lot of time thebwe dont have.
An Age of Empires version like we could play an entire march for about 1h 30min. -
+1 for this! this game having just a singleplayer option which you can obviously pause whenever you want would be great, not going to pretend to know how this all works but DLCs and stuff could be a way of making money even on singleplayer, i like the game online but is quite time demanding and with a single player you could literally do whatever you wanted in as much time as you wanted.
