    • The way i imagine it, in terms of middleground between gameplay and consistancy, is that it's much more quicker to take the highway than a cargo plane for short distances, like a Londres-Plymouth. With the loading time and unloading times to simulate the difficulty to transport tanks through the air, it isn't very difficult to make highways relevant in many contexts as a "neural network". It would also be an indirect step to a economical "setting" of the airbase "very costly, but reducing times", in order to act as hubs.
