Pinned Could not activate game - READ ME FIRST

Commander,

From time to time you might come across a could not activate game issue similar to this:

If this were to happen, you don't need to worry as chances are the database is using caching techniques to synchronise and update many aspects within that game.
If the issue/notification persists for half an hour to an hour; head over to the forum to see if other players are encountering the same issue or not on a large-scale. If not, post a bug report ( follow the guide here )

Looking at similar threads, I am caught in a loading screen. Also, a critical time in the game.

Checked - working here - something is indeed going on though. Found 18000 messages in the box - created a critical issue for it -team will check it out.

please clear cache and try again. We restarted a server a few minutes ago - possibly you were affected?

You are not in game 2518415 , but you are in game 2517445.

What is the issue?

My office buddy Vilhelm Von Finkle is in game 2518415. He does not have an account on the forum.

He's getting the "game is no longer available or no longer exists" message since this morning.

Game 2517445 is now giving me the "could not activate..." error.

This game could end today if I don't get back in. My opponents have me against the wall.

Could we get a server reset, if that is the problem?
