Will this be available for alliance challenges? That would be so cool and it looks great!

Indeed.
However, this is the kind of map i would not even play for challenge (due to balancing and such), but just for internal fun games :D, or coordination training in a relaxed moodRunning an online alliance is pretty much like running a small company, except you need to find other way than money to keep your employees productive. May they play or work, they are humans. -
I think this is actually a great map for alliance challenges. At least you don't have people randomly over the place. Also the end game in a CoN game is always best and the beginning game of this game is similar to the end game of a normal game, meaning you get instant gratificationFamous quotes from me:
"Just my important opinion"
"The best player is the player who is patient, who is clever and who is ruthless."
"I'm really great at diplomacy, terrible at strategy " -
Even if we obtain a certain amount of balancing after the first craziness, I would always recommend the old wargaming mechanic of swapping sides and playing again after the initial game. Only 2 wins constitute a victory."Going to war without France is like going hunting without an accordion." Gen. Norman Schwarzkopf

Yeah cos right now NATO looks OP.
Or maybe the better alliance can take the harder side as 'ettiquette'Famous quotes from me:

NATO overpowered? How that?"Going to war without France is like going hunting without an accordion." Gen. Norman Schwarzkopf

Well maybe not so much NATO as the USA. The USA have quite a few aircraft carriers, a ton of strike fighters and bases everywhere.Famous quotes from me:

Yes sure - and that makes it imbalanced?
I can only advise to read up or watch something informative on the historical reality on which this scenario is based.

I may be very "old school", but as a NATO player, especially the USA-one, i would be quite concerned about the huge momentum the Warsaw Pact can throw on the battlefield before i'd even finish to embark in the East CoastRunning an online alliance is pretty much like running a small company, except you need to find other way than money to keep your employees productive. Yeah - me too... only slightly though. Cause I would of course have my trusty "Nucular Arsenal" ready to fly"Going to war without France is like going hunting without an accordion." Gen. Norman Schwarzkopf

The soviet military doctrin in the time of cold war was more quantity than quality. The Warsaw Pact had a mass of tanks and soldiers. But the quality was not so good.
After the cold war and in the time of Putin the russian changed their doktrin and now the quality is better.„Morgen, ihr Luschen!“ --- „Morgen, Chef!“ (Ausbilder Schmidt alias Holger Müller bei der Arbeit) -
hmm, I can see the UK having to play host to the US forces coming stateside, along with Holding the North sea and even moving into the Baltic sea. Carrier groups will be vital, but i'm sure the WP will have something nasty to stop them
-
Well for one they have subs... and quite a few. But they also have a very strong force in Central Europe, ready to storm all the way to the ports - denying the US any landing facilities."Going to war without France is like going hunting without an accordion." Gen. Norman Schwarzkopf

I'm so hyped for this

me tooIf you make a man a fire he will be warm for a couple hours, now light a man on fire and he will be warm for the rest of his life.

So it means I missed another great thing .

Able Archer is one of those projects that is amazing game wise (and i remember fondly as one of my best memories on this game), but it also "didn't work", business-wise. Maybe a day it will returnRunning an online alliance is pretty much like running a small company, except you need to find other way than money to keep your employees productive.
