      This Asia 1950 map would be perfect, as it has the Chinese Civil War, Korean War, Vietnam Conflict, etc



      Game Bio:
      In the Aftermath of World War 2, Asia is now split into communist and nationalist countries. After a brief period of peace, it is now 1950, and Asia is falling into conflict. Tensions between North and South Korea rise, as well as tensions between the newly independent state of Vietnam and French Indochina. As these nations argue and fight, neutral countries such as India and Myanmar have chances to regain their former glory. Featuring 12 player countries and 8 AI countries, this map is designated to simulate the instability in Asia in 1950.

      Bio: Gaining independence from the French a few years ago, Vietnam has become a communist state. Vietnam must build their army to liberate all of French Indochina from French rule, while keeping an eye on China.

      Bio: After a brief occupation by Japan, Burma is now a fully independent nation. Burma must keep an eye on Indian expansion and its enemies to the east.

      Bio: An island nation, the Philippines are isolated from the rest of Asia after World War 2. The Philippines must build a strong navy to guard its coastal borders. Note: Best suited for experienced players

    • Very detailed, I like it.

      One thing though is that all of the countries are eastern doctrine. Maybe have South Korea and Nationalist China have western doctrine? Or French Indochina have European doctrine? Since the US helped SK and Nationalist China at that time.

      Also, Taiwan should belong to Nationalist China, as they acquired it in 1945.
      The Philippines can also be added; I only counted 11 playable countries listed.
      Perhaps you should also have a North and south Vietnam, for the Vietnam Conflict.

      Overall I think this is a great idea, the only real problem being that the time period doesn’t really suit this game well in its current form.
    • Yeah, I say Nationalist China and French Indochina should be Western. However, South Korea in 1950 was still very poor, and can't really be called Western. Phillipines is in as a minor nation for experienced players. And the Vietnam Conflict started much later near 1965, so it doesn't really fit 1950.
