If the country has more than one city, it is a playable nation. If the country only has one city, it is and will be AI controlled for the whole game. The only exception to this is Madagascar

Okay, now I suddenly have a Mediterranean Theater game on day 4 - I'm guessing this is the game. When I try to join it says, "Unknown Error: -1"

I was wondering about country selection.
This will be my first Championship round and I am wondering:
- Is country selection first come first served once the game is up and available?
- If so we know it starts Dec. 10 but at what time? and what time zone?

As i mentioned on other locations, my dream for a new round, if every ranking would start from ZERO, would be player vs. player. No teaming, no allies.
That would be a completely new thrill, though i guess would just work on base of gentlemen agreement of ALL involved players.
Kalrakh preached that right from beginning, and i totally agree with him.

Utopic. You don't get people acting against their culture, by asking them nicely to play singleplayer in an singleplayer tournament. We are what we are.
To quote several people from here : It's your fault if you don't have 10 allies to bring on the battlefield.
I just don't take part in it. If you dislike this culture, it's pretty much all you can do.Running an online alliance is pretty much like running a small company, except you need to find other way than money to keep your employees productive. May they play or work, they are humans. -
The Championship Rules confuse me. Are the August trial rules (which are struck through in the first post) still in effect or not? I ask because @Dr. Leipreachan mentions the August rules in his post for december championship sign ups
