    • [Concept] Special forces - enchanted

Some easy thoughts about special forces. (If some are already developed, just skip them)

      1. Special forces should not start war when they're trespassing neutral borders.
      Arguments:
      - Surprise attacks on unprepared enemies, also in deep regions of a country.
      - Element of spying.

      2. Enable deep paradrop (2000, 3500 even 5000 range)

      Arguments:
      - This action could prepare the real land attack, or disrupt the "normal" behavior of enemies.
      - Military operations even more global.
      - We can go with bomber at long distances and fire cruise missiles, so natural consequence is - we could also deliver special forces.

      3. Explosives to special forces - when they enter unprepared/cleared enemy or neutral city, they can blow up buildings, cancel production, damaging morale. City can turn to rebels.

      Argument:
      - If special forces get to undefended city with strategic industry, should they skip it, and go away...(?).

      4. Detected special forces look like rebels. Until you kill them, you don't know who they work for. Report shows the true identity.

      Arguments:
      - That's a fun thing. If you don't kill the special forces, you don't even sure where to counterattack.
      - Peace is just a word. We could now make unofficial war with some naive friend.

I like this idea. But it should apply to any stealth unit (which includes Special Forces). Such as launching surprise air raids using stealth fighters and Bombers.

Special Force should as get stealth helicopter upgrade making their air assault stealth as well. Western Countries (Especially the US and UK) use specially modified helicopters for their special forces to reduce chances of detection in hostile airspace such as being quiet, having electronic warfare capabilities and reduced RCS. US Navy Seals famously used Stealthy Black Hawk Helicopters in their raid to kill Bin Laden.

This would be good for role playing games. Where open conflict between players nations is discouraged.

Airborne Infantry can't Para-drop. But both Special Forces and Airborne Infantry can Air Assault with Helicopters. Isn't a thing in the game. But if it is introduced Special Forces should definitely get it, although your range is a bit extreme. I don't think transport planes strategically lift that far. Maybe max 1250 Range?

Your other suggestions I disagree with. Sabotage is exactly what Spies are used for. I quite like the Intelligence aspect of the game and giving Special forces these features would make agents useless in the game. Also Special Forces stealthy reconnaissance shouldn't apply if they enter a city or use a harbor, as soon they enter a city or use a neutral harbor they should be detected.
    • 3. Now i think that special forces could behave like free spy in a hostile city, with random effect : get infos, sabotage, morale , and no counterspy possible.
