    • Unit Stacking

I have read and reread the CoN Wiki page and I cannot find a guide as to the best units to be placed together. Obviously Mech works good with Tanks and Arty, however according to modern warfare doctrin Marine Corps/Naval Infantry would in all actuality have light artillery with them whenever they storm the beaches. Why can they not here? Jarheads would also carry other support elements not just Naval infantry and Amphibious combat vehicles.

    • In which way do you mean that they would have light artillery with them? You mean like the unit Naval Infantry would have their own artillery with them? Cause right now you can research artillery and combine that with the Naval Infantry as two different units, but then sadly the artillery can not be placed on beaches with the naval infantry.

I believe this could be something for the suggestion section.

    • Try to make duos of unit to see if they have a synergy.

For example, a mobile anti-air + mobile artillery, what can be the operational gain, and what does it tries to do ?

      Mech infantry + IFV ?
      Mech infantry + MBT ?

Naval infantry + Amphibious fighting vehicle ?

of course, those ones are pretty obvious, but it's a first step ^^.

"Special forces + Strike Fighters" :D
Running an online alliance is pretty much like running a small company, except you need to find other way than money to keep your employees productive. May they play or work, they are humans.
    • You should figure out, what are strenghs and weaknesses of each unit. And what do you need to balance those weaknesses out?

A battle tank is sturdy and has high damage for example, but he is not really fast. Air transport he will learn very late in game. Also he is weak against air and range attacks and he can't conquer territory.

If you play only with tanks and infantry, any air force or artillery specialist will doom your forces with high certainty.

So what do you need to counter those weaknesses?
    • There are very many possible variations and formations in combination of map/start conditions/nation and [var...;]

Marine-Infantery for landing not directly into a habour of an enemy city --> most players deploy their units in cities.
A Support Convoy of Ship(s) and/or Airforce. Build up an marine-pier for your main-invation-troops.

does SF do much damage to conventional units?

Jeremy that looks like a good Division but what type of infantry do you implement? Light, Air Assault, Mech?
Basic, Mechanized is a waste of money IMO and Air Assault is best only for taking nearby islands (without harbors ) or getting deep behind enemy lines
Airmobile are best for quickly conquering enemie territory, not only islands.

But they're abysmally slow when they have to move on land

Well I wonder what units to use together...What are the Bradleys good to use with. Do I put them with mobile infantry or recon vehicles etc.
I prefer 2 Stacks moving together supporting each other, Stack 1. 5 Infantry, 2 SAMS, 2 Tank Destroyers, 1 Rocket Launcher Stack 2. 3 Infantry, 4 Rocket Launchers, 2 AA Units, 1 TDS or SAM, I found that 2 Rocket Launchers just were not enough in most situations, and the 2 SAMS and then TDS & 1 SAM were plenty to take car of air Attacks, and the 2 AA units have taken out choppers attacking me, I would like to have a COuple of Mobile Artillery in there but unless I have time and resources I only do Rocket Launchers, these 2 Stacks working together have been very helpful and effective and I've been experimenting with many different ones suggested here, but this so far has worked the best.
