In one of my 4x games 2,417,511 i had my ballistic missile ready and was aiming it at greece and then canceled as i realized he already demolished all his buildings and quit. (never fired, double triple checked notifications) However the Missile timer went to 14 hours and reset as if i had launched. My convential and Nuke arsenal remain the same. my research in ballistics is still level 1.

Hello.
I could not find the game, but i saw there was an game x4 that ended on 551, not 511 .
I indeed found nothing that a missile was launched.
When trying to lauch missiles and removing the task, the missilies has to reload back into the device that would launch them, In that way the timer resets and you have used no missiles, which seemed to be the 14h.Have a nice following day

thank-you. That is probly the case. i had it set to fire one after fireing the last. That being the case why didnt the missile fire at its task as soon as the timer was zero?

Might have been a timer-server delay i believe, did it fire very late after the timer reaching zero?Have a nice following day

No. i moved it. so the task should have been canceled. leaving me with a reset timer and no missile.
