    • Any soultion to inordinate power ???

I thought to communicate to you with relation to something akin to a Soul-destroying unilaterality, which has ultimately ended my faith in the game entirely, despite all progress and noble effort I had invested, and almost having resigned myself to the possibility that the particular game I had become embroiled in might have gone on for another couple of months.
Not the case, Sadly, I would bring your attention to the American U.S. craft " the Garcia " which made the age of the game a very one sided and final matter.
Within fact of things, it seems to be a cargo vessel which carries other ships inside it, in that case, a destroyer and three equivalents to the U.K. corvette, A "Garcia" being itself over twice as fast as a corvette, it seems very sadlt to bear such an entire strike capacity; whatever it is carrying inside it's hold a contributant to that power, to state what I had seen on sonar 30 offence, 30 defence.. giving it all means to simply follow any corvette towards it's inevitable and ultimate doom .. That with only a single shot. Now that I have allowed that game to pass, despite the undoubted effort, skill, concentration, time and indeed actual money I had put into it .. Solely now, To ask you for that sake of others who may come into the game at a later stage, within a similar scenario as I had been, Truly, given the outright speed of the " Garcia " class over anything else, It's cargo, Size and weight surely also to be a factor with fuel consumption alone, is it correct or fair that it should have such an absolute hit strength, a Strike equivalent to the ship itself plus whatever else it carries inside it's hold ???

Regards upon such an effort of a game, anyhow ... It was an engrossing 34 days !!!!

Good luck for onwards guys !!!
    • Are you talking about the Gracia class Frigates or something else, because I don't quite understand what you are talking about.

Maybe you mean that the person had stacked a destroyer and some frigates together with the Frigate? You know that that is possible right?
btw fuel consumption is based on the troops/units, not on how big a transport fleet or whatever you are facing in your game. There is a difference between immersion and reality.

Also there is a reason why a destroyer or a frigate is faster than a corvette. The corvette is meant to be used in costal waters because it has an advantage there, while destroyers are all-rounders that are meant to hunting and sinking submarines in the high seas or just bombarding units in costal areas. Frigates are meant to be escorting aircraft carriers and provide aa protection. Therefore have to be faster than a corvette. Imagine trying to sink a submarine when your ship can't even keep up with it.

And lastly, it does not carry anything within it's hold. From my understanding, the destroyer is part of the task force. If you think you can't sink it, build a few more corvettes, stack them together and just attack him. Or use strike fighters from nearby airbases or use naval strike fighters from aircraft carriers to sink it.
(that being said the frigate can shoot planes down with ease).

Feel free to address me on what you are actually trying to say here if I interpreted it wrongly
Either way, Good luck in your future games!
    • from what i think hes complaining about the speed. Garcia (frigate lvl 1-3) having same speed as a destroyer 3.5, and having the speed of 2 corvettes (1.75). Im having trouble understanding myself. But as Maxchan said Corvettes are coastal ships. Their health value doubles and they are faster then all ships in coastal waters. Its at open sea where frigates can hit corvettes drive out of range and then hit a range through micromanaging (player has to be online).

Would a fishing ship win a race in open sea against destroyer/frigates (designed for open sea).

I hope you can will your way through this somehow, no great general is without losses after all ~
