    Officers, reporting for duty!
After much anticipation, we are very excited to see these special, unique characters in your conquest for world domination. Without further ado, let's dig into the features and changes this update introduces. Grab a tea or coffee because this change log is bountiful in content. Please keep in mind that all balancing changes & Officers are versioned and will only appear for you in new games that you join.
    Officers:
    • Officers will be graphically visible in your stack as they will always precede the units contained within said stack. This will make it easier to identify them on the field
    • These characters will have a slight dependency on your rank with regards to Research
    • There is an officer for each Unit Type: Infantry, Airborne, Tank, Helicopter, Naval, Fighter & Submarine
    • Only 1 Officer at a time (per unit type) can be used on the field. If your officer dies, you can mobilise him again.
    • You can see the bonuses provided by Officers in the description section
    • Officers can be renamed to whatever you would like for all players in the match to see
    • Graphical portraits for each doctrine giving a personal flavour to your army
    • New Sound effects for each officer and each order that they may be tasked

  • AFV and ACV a downgraded  The MBT is now a bit more useful.
I hope the extrem research costs of MBT are also lower.
And hamburg has a Habour

Soft and hard target by the corvettes?
    Against ships? submarines?
Against infantry and tanks is this more than the Cruiser have.

Also the unit symbols in stacks are changed.
If a carrier level 1 in a Navy stack always they show the carrier. That is very nice.
But if a anti air tank in a stack with the MBT always they show the anti air tank and not the MBT. Thats not nice.

  • What is with the new priority for the units in stacks?
They show the mot. Inf. if a AFV with him. I have also seen a stack with Inf, MBT and mobile AA and there is the mobile AA the main unit. But why is the tank called Main Battle Tank?

Sorry but this confuse me ?(
Only the navy stack with the carrier as main unit is nice, all other new priorities are nonsens.

    Hey @Seele07,
This only occurs in older games before the update. The reason it happens is because of the versioning method we are using for units. New games will work as intended but for now, older games will have unusual sort ordering.

  • ok, shit happens
The new tank modells from the officers are nice, but I think they have implement the wrong models, by the officers for tier 2.
The european tank looks like a russian tank and the russian tank looks like a Leopard 2
Or what models are there for eastern and european doctrin for Officers tier 2?
european officer for tier 1 has the Leopard 1 thats very nice

  • A Chinese model? Ok the Chinese copy all good things also a Leopard 2, but the officer dont look very Chinese :D .
I think the helicopter is also a Chinese copy from a european attack helicopter. May be a WZ-10 or WZ-19.
I think the Chinese units destroy the flair of eastern doctrin. The Russians have their own style and the Chinese only copy all.

What is this for a UK MBT? I hope it is a tank build after ww2 ^^ .

I have in one game my first tank comander level 1 european doctrin. The Leopard 1 looks very cool, but the colour must more like the Leopard 2 or Challanger 2.

  • Or a chieftain? But this model looks not so good, because it looks more circular than any british tank. thats the reson why I cant identify this tank.
Just now I started a map with western doctrin and the units for the officers a very great. Only that the Merkava is so far away to play makes me ;(
But what is this for a tank?

  • Our pleasure - please report back any findings or misgivings you may (or hopefully may not) have with them.

I am already planning next balancing steps for them so feedback like Seele's is highly welcome.

Balancing, skins, looks, voices - we can and will adjust them to the players liking.

  • These guys are "soft" units remember? They combine the stats for Mech, Naval and Mot Inf - all rolled into one.

The Inf Officer is basically a "Super Infantry" will all the stats of these three in one: We derived his values from all of them.

If you want to go "Jungeling" or "Mountaineering" you would be looking at the Airborne/Special Forces Officer

    Does that make sense?

  • Yes I now, but I use elite inf. often defensiv and the airborne special is not so strong in defense. The elite inf. levle 2 has in mountains/jungle more defense than the airborne special level 2.
    Elite inf. level 2: defense against inf. 13,3 -25%= ca. 10 and 38 HP. Airborne inf. level 2: 7 + 25% = 8,75 and only 28 HPs
Also I must research level 2 to have bonus in this territories

Yesterday I have a very glorious fight with elite-inf. +mot. inf. aginst a very big army in a city. In jungle and mountains they have a malus why? No bonus there is enough!
If I want fight in pleines, deserts and tundra I use tanks and mech inf.
May be the tank ace can give the bonus also the mech inf.?
