Families from around the world are seeking refuge in Antarctica from separatist conflicts. The continent has proven habitable after ice sheet melting gives way for fertile land. The United Nations is stressing the importance of the Antarctic Treaty, and that it remains upheld.

The UN President had this to say;
"The world climate we live in now demands that the treaty is respected. For the general public it is important to appreciate 3 important articles mentioned in the treaty:
Antarctica shall be used for peaceful purposes only, Freedom of scientific investigation in Antarctica and cooperation toward that end shall continue, and finally that Scientific observations and results from Antarctica shall be exchanged and made freely available."

As the US and Russia maintain a “basis of claim", and China remains silent on the subject, tensions are at an all time high and human confidence at an all time low. Groups of people are mustering everything they have, forming guerrilla units and importing contraband equipment in hopes of settling in non-conflict zones.

Despite the friction of global separation, recent alliances and communities have a new-found strength in their resolve to start afresh in the Antarctic.
