    • Multi domain combat (sea, land, air, SPACE and CYBERSPACE)

      I heard a lot about modern combat talking about multi domain battle. In short, the idea is attack and exploit enemy weakness with muti problem, air,land,sea,space and cyberspace. So here my idea about what could be implement into the game which the game is already setting in the future war and I would like to hear your idea too. (The game currently only have air, land and sea combat)

      plz keep in mine this is not suggestion. I aim to idea exchange.

      Space domain

      new building
      - space facility: lv1-3 / province / must build to the province that connect to the sea. (fact to day: sending thing to space need LOT of water to reduce the heat from engine) require to launch satellite.


      new unit: satellite

      mechanic: limit to one unit per type (identical to officer units)
      unit can not be spot in any mean beside getting intel from spy, up on selecting enemy satellite will have option to launch conventional ballistic missile to shoot down. if space facility have been attack and damage lower then 40% of HP you will lose ability to give order to the satellite and it will become inactive until space facility become functional again.

      how to produce the unit, after research you will be able to produce unit, require factory, and travel the unit to space facility. then the unit will be able to execute launch order.

      Surveillance Satellite: /need space facility lv1 to research and launch/
      work identical to drone, special command: follow. you can order it to follow specific unit
      upgrade:
      - lv2 unlock scout ability
      - lv3 increase speed from 5.0 -> 7.0
      - lv4 increase sight range from 50 -> 75
      - lv5 reveal stealth unit

      Communication Satellite: /need space facility lv2 to research and launch/
      support unit, have a role in giving allied units in large area a small buff and little moral boots to provinces and cities in the area
      +5% attack and defend, +3 moral
      upgrade:
      - lv2 increase speed from 5.0 -> 7.0
      - lv3 increase effect range to from 100 to 200
      - lv4 increase effective to +7% attack and defend, +5 moral
      - lv5 increase effect range to 300

      Research Station: /need space facility lv3 to research and launch/
      the most expensive to research and produce. it will +15% speed up the research of low level research (day1-4) and give 50VP
      this unit is mend to be end game unit and alternate way to get VP without have to conquest more land. downside is upon destroyed
      the whole nation will got -15 moral debuff (reduce overtime)
      upgrade:
      - lv2 increase research level that will get speed buff from day 1-4 to 1-8 and increase VP to 100VP
      - lv3 increase research level that will get speed buff to day 1-12 and increase VP to 150VP
      - lv4 increase research speed buff to 30% and increase VP to 200VP

      Cyberspace domain

      This is new way to attack enemy they would never expected, overall is addition of spy ability.

      mechanic: is different upon action you want to execute but all have the same requirement. Send the spy to the local you want and upon selected unit or province/city will have order to execute following and will execute on next spy tick update.

      Rebel Manipulate: selected rebel unit and you can give it direction to go, next AI rebel move will go to your desire instead of random direction. if more then one manipulate is happens it will cancel out and just stand still (apply to situation like mutiple country use rebel manipulate to same rebel), cost 3k money.

      Rebel Support: selected rebel unit and you can give the support, after execute by spy one rebel unit will become new unit 'supported rebel' ,it will have double current HP, good on holding position and could be scary if come in large number, keep in mind they still hostile to you, cost 500 component and supplies.

      Communication Cut: selected province/city you want,after execute any units in province/city will not accept any order given also in cloud building order and unit product order, the cost is risk of getting caught after execute (province/city moral x 2 = caught chance). this is good to delay enemy when they stack up in newly conquest land which will have very low moral.

      Fake intel: selected province/city you want, after execute enemy player will receive fake intel, cost 2k money.
      if execute on enemy province/city:
      - reveal of task force moving area.
      if execute on allies province/city:
      - reveal of unit guarding province or city.

    • In general interesting ideas but I suspect they would be not implementable because of engine limitations:
      - follow command for unit
      - defence/morale buff for units/provinces
      - research boost
      - VP through unit
      - cyberspace in general


      Surveillance Satellite in general feels like a better drone, so either it would be redundant because of drone or it would make drone redundant.

      Communications Satellite would need stronger buffs to be interesting. Officer all give a boost off at least 10% (given only for one stack), but they themselves are about as strong as 3 units combined, which is already a huge boost by itself.

      The research boost of the Research Satellite would be hardly usefull, also you would face issues because of the day diffences between doctrines:
      Level 2 of the ACV for example unlocks on the day 3 (West), 4 (East) and 5 (EU), level 2 SAMs unlock on days 8 (East) and 9 (EU,West)

      Rebel Support and Rebel Manipulate would be kind of waste of resource in regards of insurgents (just to week from the start) and surely not fit with Zombies. Could be interesting for The Chosen, but would it fit?

      Communication Cut could be easily to strong depending on how many units are in that province and how long it would last and most likely cause a lot of irritation and Support Ticket Spam. Also what would happen with airplanes in the air. would the be stuck too if their homebase gets cut of?

      Fake Intel: Not sure how exactly that should work like faking a unit entering a enemy province? Also 2k money sounds a bit to cheap.
