I posted an Idea in general and germanico closed it. The comment he gave said "Nazi Eu... right after a fascist gunned down 10 people in Germany, yeah right. sometimes i need to close a thread." I believe he closed my thread because it bothered his political views, there was nothing wrong with my post and it did not violate any rules. I apologize for offending anyone but this is unfair and is quite frankly censorship of an Idea that an admin just didn't like. Maybe this will get me banned from the whole game cause I'm calling out staff, but I hope not. If my post is unlocked then I will delete this post. If I get banned, see yall on the flip side! Moderating an open ideas forum is no place for personal offences to govern. Call me salty, petty, or childish, but maybe its just the freedom fighting american in me!

  • Tbh it would’ve been better for that phrase to simply be edited out; however, do note that such messages may be offensive and you should therefore not say it.

On to your map idea: I find that there would be simply too many countries this way, and would go completely against the Dev’s idea of making every country unequal, as said by Teburu. Overkill would be a better idea :)

alright thats fair but I still don't see how creating a fake country is offensive. its not like I saidall germans are racist or something, which would be wrong. Also , I get thet its meant to be that not all nations are equal, but maybe mixing it up a bit would be fun?
  • Some people may find the term ‘Nazi’ insulting.

Edit: had a talk with my dad and apparently saying ‘Nazi’ in Europe is considered taboo (considering that the devs are based in Malta this isn’t too surprising). In addition, the mere mention of ‘Nazi’ in Germany is illegal. So I guess that’s an explanation for Germanico’s action.

  • Hello @KaiWolff, no I will not ban you. And yes, maybe I was a bit harsh to close the topic - I may reopen it if you want, editing the nazi EU sentence.

Matter of fact, with Germany always being packed into the Nazi corner and the fascist resurgence here in Europe we need to make a stand. Although many news sites always state “alt-right” or far right, if someone calls for the restriction of democratic liberties, press, freedom of movement and the destruction of people that is not conservative right wing politics: That’s fascism. Fascism is not a political opinion, it’s an criminal murderous ideology driven by crooks and gangsters. People may express to be national, socialist, or whatever - but not national-socialist. There is very very big difference albeit being such a similar term.

When just the other day a fascist killed 10 innocent people in a town I know very well, where friends of mine live, and the I read about an idea of Germany being once again fascist together with other friendly neighboring nations, I simply felt I had to stop it right there.

yes but in a game u can be for example playing isis or even building a terrorist coalition ?

This reminds me of a game I made a coalition with name the red army as russia others followed the pattern
    LIberal coalition
    Social rights coalition
    The blue army
germany even built a nazi coalition.
Its just a game its not a problem.

btw I'm egyptian and isis doing great damage to the military and people and I don't mind playing them that I might even name a coalition isis.
And I loved the maps middle east crisis and the blood&oil map.

I am sorry. I know it can get quite old when the whole world always repeats tropes of your country. I certainly do not enjoy being called a fat citizen because I live in the US, or being called a pig. I understand that you were offended, and now the past is in the past.

I did not know this!! Thank you for telling me. I have worked it out with Germanico and I'm glad it all worked out. I will keep this in mind in the future!
