What about a "Pacific Rim" style game mode?

Just spitballing, but what about a Pacific Rim style game, with overpowered but slow Kaiju emerging from the seas going on rampages while you try to conquer the world?

I'm gonna be real with you here. I love the idea. But it would require too much extra coding, art, and units/buildings.

How will we fight the kaiju? Yaegers. That means a whole new unit just for 1 game mode.

How do we build the Yagers? Probably a new building, or dock level 4. Which would force the kaiju to come late-game or they'd be OP.

It's just too much to be done.

Well, may-be, but you wouldn't necessarily NEED Jaegars and associated buildings, Kaiju could be fought with the standard military units, it would just take a lot.

I like the idea a lot! Having a map where there is some large ominous threat lurking without an allegiance to a nation, taking out unsuspecting players. It would also force more diplomacy like in Rising Tides and World War Z.
The AI could maybe have something like thousands of hit points, and offense and defense in the hundreds.

Well depending on how much went into it, you could different HP for different class Kaiju.

i think putting yeagers into all game modes would be even cooler as like a armor unit

it will need lvl 4 army bas
lvl 2 recruiting office and arms industry
and can only be built in capital so we are not just over loading them

I WOULD LOVE PACIFIC RIM GAME DUDE!

Well if they did put Jaegars in, and made them difficult to get, I bet people would be buyin' gold to try them out.

Actually more like "hey this guy proposed Pacific Rim, let's propose Ender's Game and cash in on the fun"
