And no, AA units do not fire anymore when directly attacked. They removed that feature quite a while ago.

I don't know what feature you're referring to, but AA definitely still hits you twice when directly attacked (if envelope is off cooldown).
Unless you mean it always hits twice on point defense, regardless of AA envelope's state? That I haven't payed attention to tbh. -

If they don't have AWACs, stealth units are most likely already overkill anyway -

yeah sometimes i have the feeling the attacked unit need to be in the aa tick range so i you attack with patrol and the AA gun has only 26km range you only get the defense not the attack stats...
maxed out SAMS ar an interesting concept...i only researche dthem till lvl 2 for range and do the rest with maxed out theater defense...@Dorado If you Close the Forum and move everything to Discord you will lose my Feedback for sure. -

Would be neat, if the Elite Artillery had their own attack animation to fit their special weaponry, little ray of doom

Haha I also expected some si-fi animation for the projectile but all we got was a glorified mobile artillery animation

Railgun artillery has in mountain terrain it's worsted placed to shooting range, but plain areas it's has more power full and lvl 3 it's dangerous unit ever.Guns are always loaded.
