How in the world do you keep track of where your UAV's have run off to? I swear, especially mid game, I spend more time trying to figure out where I left my UAV or if it got shot down or if its still patrolling a city I took over 3 days earlier. Also, what method is there to track how many of a particular unit I have built so that I know if all my troops are accounted for? Because I'm pretty sure they spend half their time hiding out in bars or adult entertainment clubs (or maybe this is a pious game and they are all going to church). Wherever they are, I can't find them.

They do not move on their own, they are where ever you left them last.
You can always draw a circle around an airport, it will mark all units patrolling from it. -
Arrow buttons on the side of units, just scroll through
-
If you hold right click you can create a selection tool. Any unit in it is selected. If you want to see what you have in total. Use the selection tool and highlight Everything. You'll see your unit count and all its glory.
If you want to find a unit do the same thing over large sectors away from the front line. you should find your stragglers. However they prefer to be called reserves and deny any recollection of drinking. -
Use the onscreen arrow keys or the keyboard ones."Going to war without France is like going hunting without an accordion." Gen. Norman Schwarzkopf

More trick, if you can remember what airport it's using. Hold right click and drag cover the province with airport will select every unit that using that airport. This post was made by Leader of the Church of ROAD

How do you find them wen the arrows show you the city and not the plane, other right click circle the city? My Macbook ruining Ubuntu has a big problem right click circling. This signature intentionally left blank

Draw a circle around the city
To use the arrows, you need to select another unit first. -
Just curious. Do you read before posting? This signature intentionally left blank

If your trying to Group units together without Right Clicking Hold the Control key (CTRL), As for using the method above i posted where you highlight everything not sure if their is a hot key to turn on highlight mode and whatnot.
But if you click another air unit. you can use the arrow keys i posted above that Germanico Mentioned. it will get to the one your looking for eventually. -

Guys, come on. This is what I am saying:
On a Macbook, you can't use your touch pad to circle anything.
I want to find my planes.
The arrows show me the airport, not the plane.
How do I find my plane?
Can we try to answer this question? This signature intentionally left blank -
I used arrows, it shows the patrol:

And yet, it doesn't do it on my computer.
How do I do it without using arrows, circling the base, or searching the map visually? This signature intentionally left blank -
Just remembering where you put it, they don't move on their own.

I'll remember to do that. I never thought I should look where I remembered they were. This signature intentionally left blank
