I either name naval officers the name of the countries naval commander or Megaladon.- "Dogs do speak, but only to those who know how to listen."

Unburying an ancient thread (I know, I know... I can imagine the complaints already) for this slew of officer names I stumbled upon:
Tank Commander: 'Thomas the Tank'
'Tank you very much'
Rotary Wing Officer: 'Black Hawk'
Fixed Wing Officer: 'Hindenburg'
'In Plane Sight'
Naval Officer: 'Titanic'
'Unsinkable II'
(Shoutout to the Frenchman I played with once who named his Naval Officers 'Sonar King' then 'Sonar Prince' then ' Sonar Boy')
And my all time favorite, the Airborne Officer as 'Mary Poppins', especially if it's the heavily bearded dude that looks like:"Dealer of Death has counted to infinity... twice"

I call them but their function:
"Widowmaker" (Helicaptain)
"Last Thing U See" (Tank Captain)
"Captain Jack Sparrow" (Navy Admiral)
"Tarzan" (Infantry Officer)
So if you see any of these names in the newspaper you can put the game into archive...because I am coming for you@Dorado If you Close the Forum and move everything to Discord you will lose my Feedback for sure. -

When I do it's always specifically german aces and sub commanders. Not because of who they fought for but because of how well they performed at their roles and how long they managed to escape death so many times until the end whether they survived or not. My favorite for example - SS Heavy Panzer Battallion 101 Michael Wittmann had a total of 138 confirmed armored kills. Most known for his success during battle at Villers-Bocage when he took out 25 British armored vehicles in 15 minutes with his Tiger I. Obviously that's where my username comes from but still love how they allow us to name officers. Always thought that added a special touch. Especially when you lose them in a game!

Named my units "The Inevitable" and "Mom Destroyer 3000." Once got attacked by a battalion with a Tank Commander reading "Daddy Karl Marx." Not my brightest moment.
-
I named my air officer "Lightning!⚡"
One of my opponents thought that I somehow hacked the game and used lightning to strike his troops.
He accused me of using gold lol."Le patriotisme, c'est aimer son pays. Le nationalisme, c'est détester celui des autres."-Charles De Gaulle, Leader of Free France in World War 2.
English: "Patriotism is to love your country. Nationalism is hating that of others." -
