because in which case i count 5 for eastern and 5 for euro while only 4 for western.

I think it is missing the hp buff to eastern gunships. (not really significant tbh)

The problem with eastern is the only decent buff is to sams. To make it worse Europe has 20% hp buff to strikers.
Towed buff sounds good but there is so little armour early game it's kinda useless. -
what is it with all these people thinking eastern is bad?
the doctrine differences arent big enough to have an impact in pubs and eastern is doing just fine in challenges
could even argue that eastern is the best doctrine for public games

I agree, there has Major mistakes about west and east Heavy Bombers (HB), west HB is old dinosaur era craft (tier 1 and 2), but east HB has moder craft, it's should be east HB specials docrines, not west ones.

If you know how to play then Eastern Doctrine is superior. Westenr doctrine is useless.
Choopers: Early research more hitpoints + SAM more damage + towed artillery more damage to tanks.
West:
Marines more damage - so what no one builds an army of marines

Western isn't useless.
The buff to asf is quite nice since you don't suicide them into sams.
Western also buffs attack heli which is also a nice thing to have.
Western lets u get awacs faster. -
You don't have to research tier 3 special force to get its infantry damage stats. Very good buff. HUGE plus for meThis post was made by Leader of the Church of ROAD

and ASF...well as soon as I have my SAM stationed you can leave them grounded on airport...

West is pivotal for air forces in challenges, yes.
But i suppose those gentlemens are speaking of pub games.Running an online alliance is pretty much like running a small company, except you need to find other way than money to keep your employees productive. May they play or work, they are humans. -
Yes Western airsup is great , why would anyone feed them to sams? Sam's can't be everywhere. Own the skies then let arty/ground units do the heavy lifting.
The afv and attack helis are pretty good too when used right. -

Globally, it's the only part where i'm a bit too "competitive biased", but i tend to consider most if not all close combat obsolete.
