I play a game as Germany . France was my ally who went inactive . He had attacked Switzerland before going inactive . So Switzerland attacked him back . Switzerland conquered many provinces but no city . I always thought that A.I. never captures a city but in the game I played Thailand , I attacked Cambodia and Cambodia conquered Ubon Ratchasami . I want to experiment this some day that how big can an A.I get . What is the biggest limit you have seen an A.I getting ?
How big can an A.I country get ?

Biggest I've seen was WW3 Quebec had taken over eastern CanadaCurrently on (potentially permanent) hiatus
Instead of choosing wings to fly, we chose hands to hold with each other.
Yet the sky still fascinates us, is it such a crime to keep on dreaming? -

i want to experiment this . I may join a game only to do this . I will attack A.I. country's province and see how much land does the A.I. get .

this is the biggest A. I. Country I saw.
"Never underestimate the Swiss" This was one of those who did. -
I saw a game where chile and argentina were inactive. Patagonia declared war on both of them, and started invading them. Yes the AI declared war. I think they took over like one city from each country.- "Dogs do speak, but only to those who know how to listen."

I was in a WW3 game when it became apparent there was an extreme case of wolfpacking going on. At the start there was 11 countries from this alliance, cheating bastards. Anyway, we all eventually caught on and called the dev's attention to the matter. Unfortunately he only banned all but 5 of the players; which meant they all joined up together and cannibalized their partners in crime. However, two of the countries; germany and poland proceeded to attack and take territory very aggressively. When asked about it; the dev replied that the AI was set to aggressive in this match. Germany in this case proceeded to attack as far away as spain and ended up with a few hundred extra VP before it was finally put down.
Anyway; my main point here is that according to the chat exchange there is a setting to the AI that will allow it to be more aggressive. So this leads me to my question on this topic; will the mediator in control of each game "turn up the heat" upon request? Or is there a way to make the AI more aggressive as the game goes on? -
There is no limitations in how big a AI could get, I believe.
But AI hardly declare war on other AIs, so exceptional growth is very unlikely.
However there is no 'mediator' and is unlikely that Dorado is interested into making AI more aggressive.
They consider CON as an PvP not an PvE, the same reason why the nerfed the insurgency-AI hard several times. -
Oh, I think I used the term 'mediatator' incorrectly. In the game I was referring to all the bug reports were answered by the same individual so I was thinking that the customer support queue is more of an assigned role vs a first in first out type scenario. Like any bug report for a single game all go to the same dev.
Where I would find the option to make the AI more aggressive is in these current games where 50% of the countries are players who quit and once all the human players are defeated its just farming until you reach the points to win unless you vote to end of course. There are only so many fish you can shoot in a barrel before it gets old. -
Not sure if they even could if they wanted, but they will hardly want it anyway as already mentioned.
It is kind of the core problem of CON, maps are flooded with inactives or fake accounts. -
When i attack to a.i. Ukraine, them there has dozens IFV tanks, 2 tier motor infantry and recon units attacking to me, i didn't expected that, a.i. has huge army units. Several days later... i finally captured Ukraine, but that it's not easy handle entire nation, it's better use UAV unit to scouting it, before i attack to a.i. nation.Guns are always loaded.

Well, AI countries can get VERY big. I had one that was around 300 VP. (This person went inactive with a bunch of troops and VP's. Don't know why they went inactive though.)"All it takes is one bad day to reduce the sanest man alive to lunacy. That's how far the world is from where I am. Just one bad day." - The Joker

I think by AI he is meaning like the one city ai countries. Not people that go inactive.- "Dogs do speak, but only to those who know how to listen."

No, people are talking about inactive player AI. One city AI will never get big.
AI tends to mass produce units, as long as they have resources. -
Hmm. I've seen AI once city countries get big. Big enough to be rivaling some playable countries in the start of the game. But like if someone conquers a bunch of land and then goes afk then technically that would be an AI.- "Dogs do speak, but only to those who know how to listen."

2. Yes, mass produce basic infantry, armored fighting vehicles, and combat recon vehicles"All it takes is one bad day to reduce the sanest man alive to lunacy. That's how far the world is from where I am. Just one bad day." - The Joker -
A single national guard can only take entire homeland, if this is undefended. AI do not let their homeland undefended, because they in general just spam units, only players do.
Why your plane declared, I can't say with no informations.
