So ... Rising Tides has returned and I'm one of the players who doesn't have much experience playing this mode. I would like to discuss things about this map and the strategies used . Also about dead zones .

Strategy:
- Marines spam
- Cruiser spam
- Elite subs cool
- Navy GOOOOO
- oh yeah and don't forget everything other aspect of your armed forcesCurrently on (potentially permanent) hiatus
Instead of choosing wings to fly, we chose hands to hold with each other.
Yet the sky still fascinates us, is it such a crime to keep on dreaming? -

I started a game as California Republic -
Yep
Almost all countries should have access to the sea
The above was a joke lolCurrently on (potentially permanent) hiatus

Originally they were inaccessible routes with a tiny province centre outside the zone
But now they're entirely new provinces belonging to a country...Currently on (potentially permanent) hiatus

I wish I had something to offer, but I only played 1 Rising Tides game.
Furthermore, in that game, ...
1.) I picked the wrong country. Not enough cities, too far from the Goodie sites.
2.) I made an uncharacteristic blunder getting caught with my pants down. I had to scramble like Hell to keep from losing any cities or territory, but it cost me half my Navy, setting me back too far to hang with the top VP guys (the ones that also didn't have a goodie site)
3.) Someone, er, um, how shall we say this without being in violation? Ahh, someone with the Midas touch expanded double mid game with magically repairing airfields and units pulled from a hat, and won the game.
That kinda soured me on that map, and I haven't been back to one since.*** The Creator of Zombie Farming ***

So these "dead zones"? what's the point? Is there no possible way to conquer them. Why the dead space, is there some type of significance to them at all, at any point of the game? Am I missing something about them?
If you made them into kind of like bases for AI "Elite Shadow Forces" or something crazy like that could that add to the excitement? Or does that sound too far fetched? -

but something fascinates me . The so-called Registan (which is the Urdu/Hindi word for "desert" ) Death Zone at Iran-Pakistan border is actually a hilly area. There are the Changai hills . Why is it labelled as "Dead Zone "?

The only thing that can be in the dead zones:
Wanderng traders. -
I’ve been wondering why some cities and provinces are in the wrong spots on this map. First Nations’s Minnesota cities are wack and Memphis is in Arkansas now

I am very interested about the L O R E. Like what are dead zones? Nuclear fallout? Areas that are just too hot? And how are the Great Lakes so flooded, the water would not even really get their ether… how much did the sea level rise? Why is there Memphis in this game without Nashville but in Battleground USA, there is only Nashville and no Memphis, am I losing my mind? Maybe.A I R P L A N E

I'm interested why do several players (not in a coalition) always attack me pretty soon. always happens on this map every time I played it. We all suffer a lot and I eventually quit.
