    • Why does the AI like to commit suicide at sea?

      This used to happen to me a bunch, even before they beefed up the behaviour of the AI to actually build more units and research higher levels of them, but it is happening more now, since they supposedly made it smarter.

      Below is a shot of the THIRD time it has happened to me this game. When bombarding a city from the sea like I was doing here previously to units in Cork, the AI gets real clever and moves some units out of the city, down to the docks, out the port on some nice sturdy transport ships, ...

      ... and then promptly rams the unarmed troop transport into my highly armed warship, commiting suicide.

      Why does it do that?

      I mean I was getting around to killing those units, why rush it?
