in all games, battleships are "the unit that is good at killing other ships, has a little AA but still vulnerable to it, and mega super vulnerable to submarines".
And would you just look at what is a cruiser in CoN ?Running an online alliance is pretty much like running a small company, except you need to find other way than money to keep your employees productive. May they play or work, they are humans. -

And realistically speaking someone would also need resources for those mercenaries and in this game the government controls the whole economy of it's country, so there is nothing left to still produce resources for buyable units.a.k.a. jem and and eres -

What about a "torpedo development"?
a special antiship weapon that can be fired only against ships (also subs), needs 1-3 conventional or nuclear warheads and has as weapon platform:
submarines, Antishiphelicopters, Antishipplanes
No defense against a fired torpedo possible but low range. -

Please divide between reality and game mechanics.
Reality: Subs fire Torpedos, Destroyers are using waterbombs that makes them so strong agains subs
but anyway for the game mechanics: I do not care!
My suggestion for the game: Special torpedos: Fired via the menu for rockets. These torpedos need warheads and have the advantage of not being countered (only out of range running possible)

Pidgeon guided ballistic missiles, so you can aim at unit stacks instead of provinces.

I think what he's trying to say is making some sort of Elite Torpedo that launches from the water and becomes aerial but subs already have that capability on top of them when they are surfaced.
