Current Use
- super early / early game unit
- can help absorb damage in stack
- yeeting transporter with no escort
- bully people that don't have naval or counter naval
Current Problem (imo)
- can not compete with any late game naval meta which lead to lower effective in its job (yeeting transporter)
- less attack range which out range by everything
My proposal
- give it extra def against both ship & sub on last 4 upgrade
- low naval signature on last 2 upgrade
This will buff it effective on same job (coastal guarding) while it still totally same on early and relatively on midgame
This would give it a new tactic to get into melee combat using it speed in coastal and low profile
to surprise lock enemy fleet that dare to get too deep in coastal
even tho it would not last long and still be spot in sight range but if you let it get close, your fleet would hurt more and be valuable.
it still can stack with other ship and work the same as damage absorbing by giving out its low profile advantage.
- give it -25% def in deep sea so it don't go brrrrrt there
