    • Units and some add ons

I had some ideas in regards to some modern war fare on CON.

      1. Border Patrol units, Border walls. Player can construct walls on the border of states or countries. Units can not pass by, through or around, but agents could. Border Gangs. In the interest of 'terroristic' agents, players could create gangs on border who are agents that can smuggle or what not in a country or state.

      2. Sea Walls. Country or states near water or oceans could construct ocean walls that reduce hit damage when targeted by Navy. Also Port of Call can be placed on ports, disallowing any ship or sub from travelling into a port with port of call activated. Planes and gunships are the only exception.

      3. Penalty: Countries can only engage players near to same rank as themselves or in resources in their country. God gaming results in a penalty of goods and resources lost by the invading enemy.

      4. Add more than three people to a coalition.

      5. Be able to purchase army packs like elite packs or special packs, even if they die you still own the army pack, and can make more units with it.
Be able to purchase certain ranks. Its worth owning but if people want to buy it, get there quicker.

      6. Ignoring a player, disallows war with that user.

      7. Ability to change name once joined a game, and entered chat also to keep oneself gender neutral / player neutral.

While im not a fan of bringing in the "but realism" argument, that one is a bit too absurd... even if we ignore the fact that a wall isnt really much of an obstacle for really any mordern military giving ppl the ability to create borders that just can't be penetrated kinda goes completely against the concept of a game focussed on conquering the world

just build bunkers in these cities? and idk much about seawalls but im pretty sure they're not of any use against naval bombardement cuz ballistics and stuff

Thats...already a thing tho it depends on the map

don't really get what that one is about; you'll have to elaborate on that

      Frankly thats just silly

You can just write the support a ticket if you want to change your name

    • Teburu answered it. A lot of those proposal, sadly, are contradictory with the very idea of a online wargame where people can and will exterminate each other.

Number 5 can be summarise like this : give people an option to purchase elite units. And i'm sure it will be done in the future.
Running an online alliance is pretty much like running a small company, except you need to find other way than money to keep your employees productive. May they play or work, they are humans.
    • Hmm. Sounds like someone has a big wallet and wants to **y their way through using something more than *old.
