What do you guys think about having a game replay after a game concludes? Personally, I think it would provide a unique learning opportunity for those players looking to change up their play styles/learn something from a more experienced player. Another use for it I can think of is being able to share it with friends.
There have been times I executed a flawless offensive and decimated the enemy, or won an intense naval battle, and been really proud. I have taken screenshots of the newspaper after the battle, but it really isn’t the same. I’ve never felt like “oh this battle is going to be intense, let me start recording” preemptively. It’s always afterwards or mid-battle that I realize how intense (and how much fun) it was.
The only downside I can think of is that it might be pretty taxing on Dorado’s servers? I don’t know very much about this sort of thing, but from what I can guess, a time-lapse over the course of a couple months might be hard, especially for every single game out there.
Thoughts?
