Greetings Gentlemen
In today's Suggestion i would like to introduce 2 new units to the game as well as potential mechanics they might have to make them relevant and worth researching.
the first unit we will take a look at is the littoral submarine
Brief Description :
Littoral submarines are a type of submarine designed for operations in shallow waters near the coastline. They are capable of navigating in waters as shallow as a few meters, allowing them to operate closer to shore than traditional submarines. These submarines are often used for reconnaissance, intelligence gathering, and special operations.
New Gameplay Mechanic :
- mine laying capability
units :
Western Doctrine :
lvl 1- Harushio class (Japan)
lvl 2- Oyashio class (Japan)
lvl 3- Dolphin class (Israel)
Eastern Doctrine :
lvl 1- Kilo Class (russia)
lvl 2- Song Class (china)
lvl 3- Lada Class (russia)
European Doctrine :
lvl 1- Agosta class (France)
lvl 2- Vastergotland class (Sweden)
lvl 3- Scorpene class (Spain / France)
------------------------------------------------------------------
the second unit i'd like to touch on is the Amphibious Assault Ship; it was already discussed in previous posts but i'll bring it up again anyway
Brief Description :
Amphibious assault ships are a type of warship designed to support and execute amphibious operations, which involve the deployment of ground forces from sea onto a hostile shore. These ships typically feature a flight deck for helicopters and vertical takeoff and landing aircraft, as well as a well deck for launching and recovering landing craft and amphibious vehicles. They are often used in a variety of military operations, including humanitarian aid missions and combat operations.
New Gameplay Mechanic :
- Carries up to 2 stacks of Helicopters as the only Air unit
- Can store up to 3 stacks of amphibious capable units ( Naval Infantry, Amphibious Combat Vehicles as well as Special Forces, Infantry Officer and Airborne Officer that have Amphibious capabilities unlocked )
this allows the AAS to be put with 4 other escort ships without getting an over-stack
units :
Western Doctrine :
- America class (USA)
Eastern Doctrine :
-Ivan Rogov class (russia)
European Doctrine :
- Trieste (italy)
NOTE : i decided to discuss Naval Mines in a separate post, so keep an eye out for when it's out. As for any other aspect i didn't touch on, we shall discuss them here
